Michael Poyser recalls repairing a severe knee injury in a horse using magnets. Four weeks after surgery at Liverpool Veterinary School, massive swelling still remained with no flexion. Magnetic treatment was tried as a last resort. The horse returned to one day eventing the following year. Such is the power of magnetism.
