The magnet was then put on a New Holland TM165 tractor which was being used for cutting grass during silage making. Accurate figures were not recorded however the farmer estimated that he was saving £6 per day on diesel.
Another magnet was fitted to a Renault Savana 1.9 Turbo Diesel car belonging to the farmers wife who is a vet in general Practice. The results were as follows:-

Finally a second hand Range Rover was purchased by the farmer's brother in London where it had been used mainly for the school trip and shopping. On the way home on the motorway the farmer could get no more than 60mph out of the vehicle and there was considerable exhaust smoke. The magnet was then put onto the Range Rover which within a short while was capable of 80mph with greatly reduced smoke. He is reluctant to give the magnet back to his brother's wife.
